Alicia Wood-Jones managed the Schmale Lab
from 2006-2008. Originally from South Carolina, Alicia earned her M.S. in
Plant Pathology from Clemson University. She enjoys fishing, biking, and
spending time in the outdoors with her two beagles, her son Jethro, and
her husband David. Alicia is interested in cultivating fruitful relationships
with fungi and oomycetes, applying cutting-edge molecular biology techniques
and methodologies to real-world problems, and getting out into the field
to conduct applied plant pathology experiments. Alica and her family
are now living in Mississippi.
