			Katharina (Kathi) Roll conducted an independent research project in the Schmale Lab in the summer of 2007. Her research was part of a program at Virginia Tech called the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE). She enjoys hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and BBQing with her friends. Kathi's project examined the mycotoxin potential of an important plant pathogen in NY and VA.
