			John Humphreys completed an undergraduate honors thesis in the Schmale, Reinholtz, and Brewster Labs in 2007. He designed a remote-operated sampler for collecting insects with unmanned aerial vehicles tens to hundreds of meters above agricultural fields. His design could be used on autonomous UAVs for sampling insect pests above broad agricultural regions.
