Shannon Grosse is an undergraduate student working in the Schmale
Laboratory. She is helping provide timely and accurate myctoxin testing
services for thousands of wheat and barley samples from the eastern United
States. Shannon is a second year undergrad pursuing a B.S. in Biology as
well as an Honors Degree for Scholar in Health Studies. Upon graduation,
she plans on attending medical school to prepare for a career in Pediatric
Medicine. In addition to biology and medicine, Shannon enjoys playing piano,
sports, dancing, performing with the Marching Virginian’s Flag Corp, and
watching Hokie football!
