Effective service date is January 1, 1978. Donna graduated from Christiansburg High School, June, 1977, specializing in Business Accounting Procedures and Stenography. She has attended and received certificates in Office Procedures, Records Management, Supervision, and Software Enhancement Workshops offered by Virginia Tech. Donna is an active member of the Office Managers Development Group (OMDG) here on campus; a notary for the State of Virginia; Administrative Assistant for the Department Head; processes drop/adds for the department; schedules the Department Head calendar; arranges interview itineraries for candidates; issues keys for the department; handles tuition remission; handles graduate assistantships; processes personnel transactions; assists with promotion and tenure documents; assists with annual faculty reviews; processes wage payroll; serves as Office Manager for the department; and is the Graduate Student Coordinator.
Donna has a son, Marcus, who attends James Madison University majoring in Computer Information System and Management.
