Effective service date is December 16, 1978. Judy graduated from Northside High School in June of 1978 and received a Secretarial Development Certificate and Principles of Supervision I from New River Community College. She attended Virginia Western Community College and received a course credit in the class Designing with Perennials (future classes in the Horticultural field are pending).
Judy's office is located in 418 Price Hall. She provides assistance to faculty, staff, and students by assigning purchase orders, payment of invoices, filing travel reimbursement vouchers, distributing mail, inventory and surplus of items in the department, submitting monthly leave reports. Judy handles Virginia Tech Foundation, Inc. faculty accounts. She compiles and distributes the departmental directory in the fall semester.
Judy is married to Larry and enjoys bowling, planting flowers, working in her vegetable garden (and actually canning or freezing the vegetables), and being outdoors with Belle and Lady.
